Dr.Lala Gamidova
With more than 35 years of teaching experience, Lala Gamidova has shared her knowledge and passion for music with her students of all ages and levels. Dr. Gamidova graduated from the class of a legendary violinist Leonid Kogan, and Professor Sergey Kravchenko. She received her D.M.A (Doctor of Musical Arts) from the Conservatory of Music in Moscow, Russia. Some of Ms. Gamidova's students have achieved professional standing and went on to become performers.
Her teaching methods are based on the emphasis and analysis of music form, history and theory. Moreover, her approach of relating to each student on their individual level has made her students achieve great success.
Ms. Gamidova is a member of Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC), and her students have won many competitions and performed at honor recitals and conventions.
